Exploding Glass - The Michigan Story

Well, Dr Bacchus was commenting about Ken Coar's glass experience and brought up a rememberance of spontaneous glass breakage. This reminded me of a story, so I thought I would share.

If they live in Virginia you will soon have the opportunity to have them prosecuted. Eh?

Several states - notably new york and california have anti-spam laws. Lots of mail goes through those states and yet these people go around with body parts intact… the problem with laws is that they are only as good as the ability to enforce them…

Hence, people speed, run “orange” lights, and break other motor vehicle laws. And, sigh, they send me junk mail. :(

High Church vs. Low Church

Well, I made reference to a friend in an e-mail that right now was a very busy time for me as I am attending a High Church and there is just lots going on. She responded with, what the heck is a high church? So, I wrote her an e-mail. Attached is what I sent her describing High Church and Low Church.

Hello,
Thanks for the email on High Church.
If one is interested in entering high church in England what does one have to do?
Thank you.

The Anglican Church, the Catholic Church, the Orthodox church are all considered “High” churches. You might want to call one of those in your area.

Catholic church comes out…

I have, for many years, really liked what I saw coming out of Rome. I have also, for many years, really disliked how that translated as it crossed the Atlantic ocean. I am not a worldly man. I don't know what things are like outside of the United States - with a couple brief exceptions of visiting the wonderful city of Vancouver, Canada.
